Good Chaser provides personalised overdue-invoice letter packs. This policy covers the information submitted through our website and order flow, along with information we need to operate, secure and support the service.
2. Information you provide
When you request documents, we may process your name, contact email, business details, your customer or debtor’s details, invoice reference, payment history, amounts, dates and information you enter about any dispute. Please provide only information necessary to prepare your documents and avoid uploading special-category or unrelated personal information.
3. How information is used
- To prepare, deliver and support the documents you order.
- To manage payment confirmation, receipts and order history.
- To help prevent abuse, investigate errors and protect the service.
- To comply with applicable accounting, tax and legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
We generally process customer information to perform a contract and meet legal obligations; limited security and operational activities may be based on legitimate interests. Personal details about a person who owes an invoice may be processed where necessary for the customer-requested document service, subject to the nature of the data and applicable UK data-protection law.
5. Service providers and international transfers
Hosting and data operations use services including Vercel and Supabase. Payments may be handled by Stripe, and order emails may be delivered through Resend or another configured email provider. These providers process information for their respective purposes under their own terms and security arrangements. Some processing may occur outside the UK, subject to the relevant legal safeguards.
6. Retention
We retain order and financial records for periods required by law and operational needs. Intake details and generated documents should not be kept longer than necessary for delivery, support and dispute resolution; the precise operational retention schedule depends on the production configuration. You can request information about applicable periods and deletion where permitted.
7. Security
We use access controls and secure HTTPS connections. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit bank passwords, card data or unrelated confidential documents into invoice descriptions.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to access, rectify or erase personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Some rights are qualified, particularly for legal and financial records.
